Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Storyli mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our App.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Creation

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the App
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

2.2 Account Restrictions

  • One account per user
  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account
  • You may not share your account credentials

3. Subscription and Payments

3.1 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat
  • Prices are as displayed in the App Store/Play Store
  • All payments are final and non-refundable except as required by law

3.2 Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime through your App Store/Play Store account
  • Price changes will be notified in advance

4. Content Creation and Rights

4.1 AI-Generated Content

  • Stories and illustrations are generated using AI technology
  • We retain rights to the AI system and technology
  • You don’t own the generated content, you’re only allowed to use it for personal use

4.2 User Rights

  • You own the rights to your original input/prompts
  • You receive a non-exclusive license to use generated content
  • You may not commercially exploit generated content

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Generate inappropriate or harmful content
  • Attempt to circumvent payment systems
  • Reverse engineer the App
  • Share account access

6. Intellectual Property

  • The App and its original content are owned by Storyli
  • Generated content licensing is as specified in Section 4
  • Trademarks and branding are protected

7. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties
  • We are not liable for content generated by AI
  • Maximum liability limited to subscription fees paid

8. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue services
  • Change subscription pricing with notice
  • Update these terms

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by German law. Disputes will be resolved in Hamburg, Germany.
